Elite Alphabet ("we", "us", "our") operates elitealphabet.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:
- Email address — provided voluntarily when you subscribe or restore access. Used solely to verify your active subscription and link your access to a device.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never receive, see, or store your card number, billing address, or bank details. Stripe's checkout is PCI-DSS compliant.
- Device / browser storage — your subscription token, app preferences (theme, selected category), learning progress, and image cache are stored in your browser's
localStorage. This data is kept entirely on your own device and is never transmitted to us.
We do not collect names, phone numbers, location data, device identifiers, or any analytics about how you use the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To verify your active subscription when you request access to paid content.
- To restore your access on a new or different device when you provide your email.
- To respond to support or privacy requests you send us directly.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the service.
3. Third-Party Services
The only third-party service we use is Stripe for payment processing. When you click "Subscribe Now", you leave our site and interact directly with Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe's own Privacy Policy governs that interaction: stripe.com/privacy.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, advertising networks, or any other tracking or marketing technology.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser localStorage (not HTTP cookies) for essential app functions:
- Storing your subscription access token so you stay logged in.
- Remembering your selected category and colour theme.
- Saving your learning progress across sessions.
- Caching product images for faster loading and offline use.
We do not set any third-party cookies. Stripe's checkout page, which is served from stripe.com, may set its own cookies subject to Stripe's policy. We have no control over or access to those cookies.
5. Children's Privacy
Elite Alphabet is designed to be used by young children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. The subscription is intended to be purchased and managed by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly.
6. Data Retention
We retain your email address for as long as your subscription remains active within Stripe's records. Stripe may retain payment records for legal and financial compliance purposes as outlined in their own policy.
Local device data (progress, preferences, image cache) can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's storage or using your browser's "Clear site data" option.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (primarily your email address).
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data, which will also revoke your ability to restore access on new devices.
- Object to certain types of processing.

8. Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. Access to subscription verification is handled through our serverless API, and we never log or store email addresses in plain text beyond what Stripe's system retains. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after the date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
